Please read these terms carefully before placing an order. By purchasing from Controller Modz, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

Definitions
In these terms and conditions:
- "We", "Us", "Our" refers to Pro Gaming Ltd trading as Controller Modz
- "You", "Your", "Customer" refers to the person placing an order
- "Products" refers to controllers, accessories, and services offered for sale
- "Custom Products" refers to any controller or item built, modified, or personalised to your specifications
- "Standard Products" refers to pre-built or unmodified items sold in their existing state
- "Repair Services" refers to our TMR upgrade and controller repair services where you send in your own controller
Ordering & Payment
3.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order, or have the permission of a parent or guardian. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information provided is accurate and complete.
3.2 Order Acceptance
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse any order for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Product unavailability
- Errors in pricing or product information
- Suspected fraudulent activity
- Inability to verify payment information
3.3 Pricing
All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect orders for which we have already sent confirmation.
3.4 Payment
We accept payment via major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and Klarna. Payment must be received in full before we begin processing your order. For custom products, payment is non-refundable once production has commenced.
Custom Products
Custom-built controllers are made to your exact specifications and are therefore exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Once your order enters production, it cannot be cancelled or returned for a change of mind.
4.1 Definition of Custom Products
A product is considered "custom" if it includes any of the following:
- Custom shell colours or designs selected by you
- Custom buttons, thumbsticks, or triggers
- Personalisation (name, gamertag, etc.)
- LED lighting modifications
- Performance modifications (paddles, rapid fire, etc.)
- Any combination of options selected through our builder tool
4.2 Production Timeline
Custom orders typically enter production within 24-48 hours of order confirmation. Once production has begun, the order cannot be modified or cancelled. You will receive updates on your order status via email.
4.3 Design Approval
For complex custom designs, we may contact you to confirm details before production. It is your responsibility to ensure all specifications are correct at the time of ordering. We are not liable for errors in customisation that result from incorrect information provided by you.
4.4 Colour Variations
Due to differences in screen displays and manufacturing processes, actual colours may vary slightly from images shown on our website. This does not constitute a fault and is not grounds for return.
The above does not affect your statutory rights regarding faulty goods. If your custom product arrives damaged or defective, please see our Warranty section below.

Please note that processing and delivery times are estimates and may be extended during peak periods, sales events, or festive seasons. We are not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs processes.
5.3 Delivery Address
It is your responsibility to provide a correct and complete delivery address. We are not liable for orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by you. Re-delivery charges may apply if a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address.
5.4 Risk of Loss
Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to your specified address. All shipments include tracking information which will be emailed to you upon dispatch.
Returns & Refunds
6.1 Standard Products (14-Day Returns)
For standard (non-custom) products, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
To exercise this right:
- Contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of delivery
- Return the product in its original, unused condition with all packaging
- You are responsible for the cost of return shipping
- We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned item
6.2 Custom Products (No Returns for Change of Mind)
As stated in Section 4, custom products are made to your specifications and are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period. Custom products cannot be returned for a change of mind.
This includes situations where you:
- Change your mind about the design or colour
- No longer want or need the product
- Made an error in your customisation choices
- Find the product elsewhere at a lower price
6.3 Faulty or Damaged Products
If your product arrives damaged or develops a fault within the warranty period, please see our Warranty section (Section 7). This is separate from your 14-day return rights and does not affect your statutory rights.
6.4 Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item. Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to credit your account.
Warranty
7.1 Warranty Coverage
All controllers purchased from Controller Modz come with a 180-day warranty from the date of delivery, covering manufacturing defects and faulty workmanship.
7.2 What Is Covered
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
- Faulty buttons, triggers, or thumbsticks
- LED lighting failures (on LED models)
- Connectivity issues not caused by external factors
- Defects in our modifications or customisations
7.3 What Is NOT Covered
The warranty does NOT cover damage or defects resulting from:
- Physical damage – drops, impacts, crushing, or breakage
- Water or liquid damage – spills, submersion, or humidity
- Unauthorised modifications – opening the controller or modifications by third parties
- Normal wear and tear – fading, scratches, thumbstick rubber degradation from use
- Cosmetic damage – that does not affect functionality
- Misuse or abuse – throwing, excessive force, intentional damage
- Use with incompatible devices or accessories
- Damage caused during return shipping (if inadequately packaged)
7.4 How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Contact us at [email protected] with your order number and a description of the fault
- Include photos or videos demonstrating the issue where possible
- We will assess your claim and provide instructions for return if required
- For valid claims, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion
- If repair is not possible and the product is no longer available, we will offer a refund or store credit
7.5 Warranty Shipping
For all warranty claims within the UK, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs, and we will cover the cost of shipping the repaired/replacement item back to you.
7.6 Warranty Transfer
Our warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
Repair Services (TMR Upgrades)
8.1 Service Description
Our repair services, including TMR Hall Effect thumbstick upgrades, require you to send your own controller to us for modification. By using this service, you agree to the following terms.
8.2 Customer Responsibilities
- Packaging: You are responsible for securely packaging your controller to prevent damage during transit. We recommend using the original box or a padded box with adequate protection.
- Shipping to us: We will provide you with a pre-paid postage label with shipping instructions if you have purchased a send-in-service.
- Accurate information: You must accurately describe any existing faults or issues when placing your order.
8.3 Our Responsibilities
- We will perform the requested service with reasonable care and skill
- We will notify you if we discover any additional issues during inspection
- We will return your controller via tracked shipping (UK) within the stated timeframe
8.4 Liability for Your Controller
Controller Modz is not liable for damage to your controller that occurs during transit to us. We strongly recommend using tracked, insured shipping.
While in our possession, we will take reasonable care of your controller. Our liability is limited to the cost of the repair service paid. We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage or faults not disclosed at the time of ordering
- Damage occurring during transit to or from our facility
- Data loss (if applicable to your device)
- Consequential losses or damages
8.5 Unrepairable Controllers
If we determine that your controller cannot be repaired (due to extensive damage, missing components, or other factors), we will contact you to discuss options including:
- Return of the controller (unrepaired) with a full refund of the service fee
- Recycling of the controller with a full refund of the service fee
- Application of your service fee toward the purchase of a new controller
8.6 Repair Warranty
All repair services come with a 90-day warranty covering the specific work performed. This warranty is subject to the same exclusions listed in Section 7.3.
Modifications & Manufacturer Warranty
Controller modifications may void the original manufacturer's warranty from Microsoft, Sony, or other manufacturers. By purchasing a modified controller or modification service, you acknowledge and accept this.
9.1 Understanding the Impact
When we modify a controller, we must open the device and make internal changes. This action typically voids the manufacturer's warranty. Controller Modz provides its own warranty (as detailed in Section 7) to cover our products and workmanship.
9.2 Game Compatibility
Our modifications are designed to be compatible with all games and are undetectable on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and Steam. We use only the most up-to-date components and techniques. However, we cannot guarantee compatibility with future game updates or platform changes that may occur after your purchase.
9.3 Third-Party Services
If you have your controller modified by a third party after purchasing from us, our warranty becomes void. Only modifications performed by Controller Modz are covered under our warranty.
Limitation of Liability
10.1 Maximum Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to your purchase shall not exceed the price paid for the product or service in question.
10.2 Exclusion of Consequential Damages
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits or revenue
- Loss of data or gaming progress
- Loss of use or enjoyment
- Cost of substitute products or services
- Any other intangible losses
10.3 Force Majeure
Controller Modz shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, severe weather, or acts of God
- Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies
- War, terrorism, civil unrest, or government actions
- Supplier failures or component shortages
- Shipping carrier delays or disruptions
- Power outages, internet failures, or technical disruptions
- Strikes, labour disputes, or industrial action
10.4 Statutory Rights
Nothing in these terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.
Intellectual Property
11.1 Our Content
All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, designs, photographs, videos, and software, is the property of Controller Modz or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
11.2 Permitted Use
You may view, download, and print content from this website for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display our content without written permission
- Modify, create derivative works from, or reverse engineer any content
- Use our content for commercial purposes
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
11.3 Custom Designs
Custom designs created by Controller Modz for customers remain the intellectual property of Controller Modz unless otherwise agreed in writing. You receive a licence to use the design on your purchased product only.
11.4 Customer-Provided Content
If you provide designs, logos, or images for customisation, you warrant that you own or have the right to use such content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights. You grant us a licence to use this content solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order. We reserve the right to refuse any content that we believe may infringe third-party rights or is otherwise inappropriate.
General Terms
12.1 Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12.2 Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint or dispute, please contact us first at [email protected]. We aim to resolve all disputes amicably and will respond within 5 business days. .
12.3 Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from these terms and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
12.4 Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and any specific terms displayed at checkout, constitute the entire agreement between you and Controller Modz regarding your purchase and supersede any prior agreements or communications.
12.5 Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically.
12.6 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorised representative of Controller Modz.
12.7 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to a third party at any time without notice.
